Cross-Species Mapping

This server is to map all probes in a microarray platform to another sepcies, enabling the comparison of gene / protein expression data from different species.

Search Platform

• Enter the GEO platform GPL ID.

• IF the entered GPL id is present in database then system will display detailed information about entered GPL ID like Title,Species name and description

• Select a species from the pull down box to map all probes in your platform
• System maps all the probes of the entered platform with the selected species. System takes one probe at a time finds the corrospnding gene and then finds the homologous gene for that, in selected species.

• Result page shows probe , corrosponding gene , its homologous gene, symbol of homologous gene and description of homologous gene.
